About

After receiving my BA in Education Policy, I spent three years working as a nanny. Incorporating art and music into our daily routine was my favorite way to spend our down time. However, it wasn’t until I began teaching Classes at an art center that I learned of process art and the important role it plays in early childhood development. Through observation and guidance I began to understand the ways in which process art supports the whole child. These formative years are meant for creative exploration and discovery. These years are meant for empowering your child and exposing them to new opportunities that foster independence and confidence.  I created Small Gathering to provide children with exciting and unique opportunities to learn through art and sensory-based experiences.

See you in class,

Ms. K.C.
